While I do outsource most of my editing to ShootDotEdit, I do some editing for sneak peeks and blog posts and I have two main colour presets that I use in Lightroom and they are definitely worth checking out.

VSCO FUJI 160C is the preset I use the most. I am drawn to the clean and fresh look and this preset really delivers. The greens pop and for a photographer based in Ireland, I feel it really brings out the best in my images.

More and more in recent times, I’ve been falling in love with the look of film. Jose Villa and Elizabeth Messina’s fine art photographic work is incredible, and one day I’ll be buying a Contax 645 and starting to shoot some film. MASTIN LABS PRO 400H NEUTRAL provides a look that is so close to that film-inspired aesthetic, with muted, creamy tones to die for.

Here’s a side by side comparison of the presets along with the RAW unprocessed file. Let us know what you think of each preset by commenting below, and feel free to share your own favourites.
