Are you interested in learning landscape photography? Would you like to attend a hands-on workshop for free? If so, you’ve come to the right place!
On Monday, May 16, Engage Live will be filming our next class – Landscape Photography With Steven Hanna – and we need a student to help make the class come alive.
The successful applicant will feature in the class as a student, shadowing Steven as he sets up and shoots four stunning locations along Northern Ireland’s Causeway Coast – learning from a master, and adding to their portfolios, as they go.
In order to apply, all you need is a good knowledge of photography, your own digital camera, and a willingness to interact with Steven on camera.
By posing questions throughout the day – questions relevant to you as a student, and therefore also to our audience – you will help to shape the content of the class, making it as educational and informative as possible.
A successful wedding and portrait photographer, Steven Hanna’s first love is landscape photography, and he has been selling out hands-on workshops focussing on the subject for several years.
‘This is a unique opportunity to learn the basics of landscape photography while shooting some of the most breathtaking locations anywhere in the UK,’ says Steven, ‘many of which have been used in HBO’s Game of Thrones series.
‘You’ll get the chance to shoot a sunrise at Ballintoy Harbour. I’ll also be teaching how to shoot waterfalls at one of Northern Ireland’s most stunning ‘hidden’ waterfalls, and we’ll finish the workshop at a secluded bay along the coast learning how to creatively shoot long exposures.’
So, if you are free to join us at Ballintoy Harbour from 4.30am on Monday, May 16 – an early start to ensure a beautiful sunrise shoot! – and spend the remainder of the day travelling with the Engage Live team to three other locations, then we’d love to have you with us.
To apply, simply request to join the Engagers Facebook group and post an example of your landscape photography to the top thread. We will confirm the willing applicant no later than 1pm, Wednesday, May 11. Good luck!
