Would you like to learn about the art and business of wedding photography from one of Ireland’s most successful professionals and put your newfound skills to the test by shooting a real life wedding? If so, Engage Live is here to help.
On March 22 – 23, we will host our latest Fine Art Wedding Workshop, delivered by Engage Live founder and wedding photographer extraordinaire Donal Doherty, and those who attend will be entered into a draw to second shoot with Donal for real!
‘Fine Art Wedding Workshops are always rewarding experiences for Engage Live students,’ says Donal, who shoots over 50 weddings a year in his native Northern Ireland and further afield, having been commissioned to photograph ceremonies in Paris, New York, Sorrento, Cancun and elsewhere.
‘This Spring, our students get to spend spend Day One learning how to set up and run a wedding photography business, and Day Two photographing bride and groom models in the stunning setting of Lough Eske Castle in County Donegal.
‘And now, for the first time, I will randomly choose a winning student to join me on an upcoming date in my busy wedding calendar to learn with me on the job. You can’t buy that kind of experience.’
Engage Live two-day Fine Art Wedding Workshops cost £495 per person (pricing plans are available), and include lunch each day and travel to the location shoot on Day Two, when students will learn about the art of composition, lighting, model management and shooting in one of Ireland’s most sought after wedding venues.
Those planning on staying in Derry during the workshop can avail of a special B&B and B&B with dinner rate from our friends at the Everglades Hotel. Contact us for more information.
Each Fine Art Wedding Workshop is themed: watch this space for this Spring’s theme and check out slideshow videos from our previous two Fine Art Wedding Workshops above and below for inspiration.
‘It’s essential to seek out education if you’re just starting out on your wedding photography journey,’ adds Donal, ‘and also to maintain that education as you progress, in order to improve and to be able to offer your clients the very best service.
‘Engage Live is in place to enable you to do just that, mainly from the comfort of you home, though our in-person workshops are always incredibly popular.
‘But there is nothing quite like the real thing, and our Fine Art Wedding Workshop raffle winner is sure to have the time of their lives second shooting with me in a highly pressurised, but exciting and rewarding, real world environment. I can’t wait to pull the name out of the hat on March 23!’
